"The Finish Line that Wasn't - The Trail to NOT Running a World Championship"
Meredith Michener began participating in sled dog sports in 2011 with her rescue dog Leo at PSDC's Fair Hill Challenge. It took just one race and she was hooked. Since then she has won multiple dryland Gold, Silver and Bronze ISDRA and IFSS medals, been selected for Team USA three times and participated in one IFSS World Championship in Spain. In October of 2025 she was prepared to race in the first IFSS World Championship on American soil and two weeks before the event an accident took her out of competition.
Meredith has been a member of PSDC since 2011, served on the board for multiple years and is presently the Executive Director of ISDRA. She is a resident of Collegeville, PA.
